-Staff the reception desk and welcome students and other visitors to the Career Development Center - Schedule appointments - Manage main office phone & voicemail - Assist students, faculty, and other visitors with questions about career resources and services - Utilize the ODU JobLine system to: - Post job and internship information - Track and record office statistics - Update announcements and event calendar - Perform general office duties: Inventory and maintain office literature, input data from surveys for reports, file student forms, retrieve and distribute office mail, perform faxing and copying duties, and keep lobby neatly organized - Assist with Career Development Center events, including career fairs -Take on special projects such as event logistics and marketing, organizing employer visits to campus, and other initiatives as deemed necessary

About the Career Development Center: The Career Development Center provides individual career guidance and job/internship placement advising and resources. This includes self-assessment, career exploration and planning, graduate school information, resume and cover letter critique, interview skill development, advising on job search strategies and employment resources.
